Professional Registration

CAHSC

Professionals within Anthroposophic Health and Social Care can apply for registration to the Council for Anthroposophic Health and Social Care (CAHSC).

CAHSC regulates, develops and promotes anthroposophic health and social care professions by:

  • Maintaining the definitive Register of those who have satisfied CAHSC that they can practise safely and competently
  • Defining and maintaining high standards of education, training and practice
  • Guiding health and social care professionals in standards of practice
  • Dealing promptly and effectively with members whose competence or fitness to practise is called into question
  • Promoting and developing the professions and practice of its members.
  • Liaising with the relevant Anthroposophical Professional Associations, the School of Spiritual Science (Section for Anthroposophic Medicine), the General Anthroposophical Society, other healthcare regulatory bodies, patient and consumer groups, government departments, NHS and Social Services agencies

CAHSC currently registers Anthroposophic Healthcare Professionals in the following disciplines:

  • Anthroposophical Therapeutic Arts
  • Anthroposophical Therapeutic Speech
  • Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • Eurythmy Therapy
  • Medicine
  • Pharmacy
  • Rhythmical Massage Therapy
  • Curative Education and Social Therapy
